Hull/Deck joint

Hi There,

I am about to renew the hull/deck joint on my Sonata, and would like to know what filler or sealant should be used.

Thanks in advance for any info.

We have been using “sticks like shit” on my sonata and other boats… it seens to work as wells as anything else.

Thanks for info Tom,

Have raked all the old stuff out of the joint and it seemed to be a type of hard filler so am going to renew it with an epoxy marine filler so that I can paint over it. The joint/gap between the deck moulding and the hull is about 5mm in places so will paint it along with the deck moulding.
