Hull to deck joint filler | Sonata Sailing

Can anyone recommend the best filler/caulk to use for the joint between the deck and hull. And has anyone found the perfect tool for scaping out the old stuff! It looks a bit of a tedious job but other than that is there anything else to look out for.

Hi Paul,

I have recently renewed my joint and I used a chisel to break out the old filler. It came out easy enough.

The filler that was in my joint was solid so I used a hard filler to replace it. I used International Interfill 830, and also some Loctite Marine filler.
