Hi, just thought i better say hello.
I owned a sonata about ten years ago, she went by the name of Popinjay and was bright blue, if my memory is correct she went to live in Gourock and changed her name, not sure if that was anything to do with the way i treated her. 
It would be nice to hear what she is up to now if anyone has any information?

Thanks very much for the reply, it’s great to hear she is still on the go, Skinny Chicken rings a bell, i look forward to seeing her back on the water at some point.

Hi Andy,
Popinjay was brought to Helensburgh Sailing Club a few years ago but was then sold to someone in Gourock. She was repainted white and renamed Skinny Chicken ( someone had a thing about chickens at Gourock because there was also a Chicken Shed ). She was taken to Windermere for a winter series and at the end of it was put up for sale down there. She must have been homesick for the Clyde however as she was bought and brought back to HSC. A few years later she was resold in Helensburgh Sailing Club and was renamed Chaos Theory.
She also now ha sbright stipes down the bow and just above the waterline. She wasn’t launched last year but I hope she will be back out racing this year.
