Light winds were the mark of the weekend at this Firth of Forth end of season bash and the sun was beaming brightly on the bridges. This is the biggest regatta of the year on the East Coast of Scotland and the sponsorship and prizes were amazing.
First prize was vouchers for 2 people for 2 nights (or 4 for one night) in the posh Lands of Loyal Hotel (Alyth – Perthshire)
Second was a mini-motorbike (takes 180kg man at 50mph).
Third was a crate of wine.

Neil Mclure, So
It’s the first time I’ve been happy being 2nd to So!
2 years ago at the same regatta we won a radio control helicopter so from my kids point of view dad can go racing at Lands of Loyal every year!!
It was a great event despite the v.light winds and Neil’s team sailed very well and deserved the win…….again!
