new windows?

Hi Neil,

We got new windows from QD plastics in Dumbarton ( Ian Thomson ex sailing secretary CCC and race officer at Scottish Series ) but we had to take the old ones in for him to copy. They were an exact copy of ones taken from another boat last year so it seems that Hunter used the same template for making them all as Firebird is hull no.6.We just set them in on a bed of clear silicone and so far seems ok.

Hi Niel

I fitted new windows last year and like peter booth i went through Ian Thompson (Owner of Be Happy)

He did a great job on them and supplied them with a very good sealing strip that has proved completly water tight and very very easy to fit, i fitted them my self if you have any questions just shout me.

If you are at kip you can come have a look if not ill catch you at Scottish series
