Sea Toilets

24th May 2005

Does anyone have experience of fitting a proper sea toilet into a Sonata? The distaff side has insisted on a proper toilet instead of the standard portapotti article.

A standard XM toilet doesnt seem to weigh too much, but I am worried about fixing the gate valves and ‘through hull fittings’ so they dont move and cause a leak.

Presumably the best way would be to Araldite the fittings to hull and then fibreglass them in sturdily on the inside.

Any suggestions / advice would be welcome

Thanks……..David
