Hi guys,
We are going to do Whitby on the way back down South. However, that doesn’t mean that you Northern guys should ignore them after the Nationals. From what I can see, they have made every effort to make us welcome at a very minimal cost. Here’s the plea: If you can possibly make it, you should. It’s sea sailing, none of this lochs stuff, so you could learn something new. It’s just a weekend, so no work pressure. Please try to support them. I am coming to believe that the future of the Sonata Class depends on traveling. Our boats are easy to tow with the right rig. Lets try to support all the venues we can.

Hi All, I am adding my support for boats to come to Whitby. Currently fifteen entries, so could easily be more than the Nationals. You still have a week to drum up a crew and get on the road. Hope to see you all there.

Hi Chris
Sorry to say i will not be able to attend Whitby, I have the time, I could even find the finance to travel, May even be able to persuade the wife that its a really good idea (Whitby looks lovely)and I may even be able to persuade some crew to come (again I don,t think it would be a hard sell)
What I cannot get round at least this year (and most likely next year) is that i have no trailer and no suitable car to tow with. Both of which will not be a small expense to put right. Once again I wish those who travel all the best of luck and wish i was with you.
